Demand Forecasting Software

Demand Forecasting Software
That Becomes a Purchase Order

Replenagise is demand forecasting software for ecommerce and multichannel sellers. It forecasts every SKU from live Shopify and Linnworks data — seasonality detected, stockouts corrected — and turns the forecast into reorder points, safety stock and purchase orders automatically.

How It Forecasts

The methods behind the forecast

Replenagise builds each SKU’s forecast from the techniques that actually work on ecommerce data. Sales velocity is recency-weighted, so the forecast turns when demand turns instead of lagging it by months. Seasonality is detected automatically from your history — monthly indices per product and category — so December is bought in October, not discovered in December.

Most importantly, forecasts are stockout-adjusted: days you were out of stock are not treated as days of zero demand. Raw averages learn the wrong lesson from every stockout and quietly under-order the next buy; correcting for time in stock breaks that doom loop. Trend detection and historical pattern analysis round out the picture on every SKU, channel and store.

The result is a demand forecast per SKU, per channel and per store — visible, explainable, and recalculated continuously as new sales land.

What Makes It Demand Forecasting Software Worth Paying For

01

Per-SKU, Per-Channel, Per-Store

Every product forecast individually, on every channel and in every store — Amazon and eBay via Linnworks, one Shopify store or many — instead of one blended average.

02

Seasonality Detected Automatically

Monthly demand indices computed from your history and applied to the forecast, so seasonal peaks and troughs are bought ahead of time without manual adjustment.

03

Stockout-Adjusted Accuracy

Out-of-stock days are excluded from velocity so lost sales do not read as low demand — the correction that stops forecasts under-ordering after every stockout.

04

Forecasts That Execute

Each forecast flows into reorder points, safety stock and order quantities, then into purchase orders and transfers raised straight into Shopify and Linnworks. A forecast that never becomes a PO is just a chart.

05

Transparent Calculations

Every number traces back to its inputs — velocity, seasonality index, lead time, safety stock — so you can audit any forecast before trusting it with your cash.

06

Live API Integrations

Direct connections to Shopify and Linnworks keep the data fresh automatically: no CSV exports, no stale spreadsheets, no manual refresh.

Demand forecasting vs inventory forecasting — and why you want both

Demand forecasting predicts what customers will buy; inventory forecasting turns that into what stock you need and when. They are two halves of one loop, and splitting them across tools is where plans fall apart — a demand number in one system has to be re-keyed into another to become an order.

Replenagise runs the whole loop in one place: demand forecast → stock requirement → reorder point → purchase order, per SKU, automatically. That is why sellers replace both the forecasting spreadsheet and the reordering spreadsheet with it at the same time.

Go deeper: the demand forecasting methods guide explains the techniques in detail, inventory forecasting software covers the stock-side view, and inventory replenishment software shows how forecasts become purchase orders automatically.

Demand Forecasting Software — FAQs

What is demand forecasting software?

Demand forecasting software predicts how many units each product will sell over a coming period, using sales history, trends and seasonality. Replenagise forecasts per SKU, channel and store from live Shopify and Linnworks data — with stockout adjustment so lost sales do not distort the numbers — and then converts forecasts into reorder points and purchase orders automatically.

How accurate is Replenagise’s demand forecasting?

Accuracy comes from method and data quality: recency-weighted velocity, automatic seasonality indices, and stockout-adjusted history — recalculated continuously from live API data. Every calculation is transparent, so you can compare forecasts against actuals per SKU and see exactly why each number is what it is.

Does it handle seasonality and trends?

Yes. Seasonal indices are detected from your own history per product and category, and trends are picked up through recency weighting and pattern analysis — so the forecast rises into your peak season and falls out of it without manual tweaking.

Which platforms does it integrate with?

Shopify (including multiple stores) natively, and Linnworks — which brings Amazon, eBay, Zalando and every other Linnworks-connected channel into the same forecast. Both connect by secure API in minutes, with a 14-day free trial.

Is this different from inventory forecasting software?

They are two halves of one loop: demand forecasting predicts sales, inventory forecasting converts that into stock requirements and buying decisions. Replenagise does both — see our inventory forecasting software page for the stock-side view.
